Janice T. Griffin, LCSW

Jan is an experienced therapist in Pensacola for over 24 years. Jan earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of West Florida and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the Florida State University. She has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings. She is formerly the Executive Director of the PACE Center for Girls (Escambia), and most recently was the Clinical Coordinator for the Intensive Outpatient Program at West Florida Hospital.

As a therapist, Jan uses cognitive behavioral therapies, with an emphasis on insight-oriented therapy. She has received specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Jungian Dream Work. She is a Qualified Supervisor for Licensed Mental Health Counseling and Licensed Clinical Social Work in Florida.

Jan enjoys working with the older adolescent and adult population. She has extensive experience working with individuals diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. She provides therapy for a wide range of mental health issues, including attachment problems, relationship and emotional issues as well as trauma.
