Benjamin R. Gibson, PMHNP-BC

Benjamin R. Gibson, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy for adults of all ages. He is committed to delivering thoughtful, individualized care that integrates biological, psychological, spiritual, and lifestyle factors to support long-term mental wellness.

Ben earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from Vanderbilt University. He has experience working in community mental health, where he treated a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions. His background includes caring for individuals across diverse socioeconomic and clinical settings, allowing him to approach each patient with cultural sensitivity and clinical depth.

He believes effective psychiatric care extends beyond symptom reduction. Ben emphasizes collaborative treatment planning, patient education, and practical strategies that empower individuals to better understand their mental health and actively participate in their care. While medication management can be an important component of treatment, he considers psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, sleep, nutrition, and exercise as essential elements of overall well-being.
